Venue and accomodation for Congress Paris 2011.
An important part of the Paris Congress, will take place at FIAP Jean Monnet, which is also an International accommodation residence in the center of Paris (14th district).
It is located 20 minutes from the quartier Latin, Le Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. It accomodates 480 beds in singles, twin-rooms and quads all equipped with shower and toilets. Early booking is needed.

OUR HONORARY PRESIDENT MS. MARJIA TOMC PASSED AWAY
We were very sorry to learn from Marijan Pavlic, secretary of the Croatian Stenographic Association the on 16th May Ms Marijia Tomc passed away. Ms Marija Tomc was a shorthand teacher and was the President of Intersteno for the organisation of the Congress of 1979 in Beograd, which was a very successfull one. She was member of the Central Committee and she created the Intersteno group in Croatia, this group is now again very active in our organisation. The Board of Intersteno, in the name of all friends who had the opportunity to meet Ms Tomc, presents the deepest condolences to her family as well as to the Intersteno friends in Croatia. 12.04.2010
COUNCIL AND IPRS MEETING - BUDAPEST
As already announced the meeting of the Council will be in Budapest 1/3 October next. In the same day a meeting of the Parliamentary and other professional reporters is planned. During the Council Meetings and the General Asssembly held in Beijing, the new Boardmembers as well as the Jury Coordinators and Scientific Committee Members were elected. Please visit the relevant pages of our web site for additional information. 15.08.2009
Nearly 800 persons were present at the Opening Session of the 4t7h Congress in Beijing.
A warm welcome from China to participants and competitors of 27 nations took place to-day at the Olympic Sports Centre. In the next days competitions, conferences and tours will be important moments, till the closing ceremony in the same centre which will take place in the same place on Thursday 20th. 01.08.2009
